Default Attaching Wire Works

I just received my wire work and I'm trying to figure out how to attach it to my cards. I've tried mono, but it doesn't seem to work quite right. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks,

Jodi :P

YOu can punch a little hole (1/16th punch) and slip one end through the front of the card to the back.

You could tie it on with a ribbon.

You could use the mini glue dots.

You could use Crystal Effects.

Hmmmm... that's about all I can think of right now.

I have a card in my gallery where it comes spirling out of an eyelet.

I used Crystal Effects on my 44 card swap. I was afraid the wire and beads would fall off with all those cards being sent in the mail...not once but twice. According to the swap hostess the cards made it fine. CE was the answer for me.

when you use the CE, do you put it on the card front under the wire? I've tried that, but the CE just seems to get everywhere. I've also tried putting the CE on the wire before putting it on the card.

Thanks for your help!

You can use another small piece of wire to hold it down in a twist tie fashion.
Punch a small hole in the cardstock.
Put your small piece of wire over your wire works design and push both ends of the small piece through the hole.
Twist together on back side of card just like your closing your loaf of bread.

I laid my wire on the card stock and then applied a small dot ot CE to the wire. My wire was spiraled on both ends, with beads in the middle. I put the CE in the middle of each spiral. It ran down and around the wire where it dried in place. The card I used it on is in my gallery. Its from the wheel swap - Heart of Africa.

Oh, another suggestion... I've punched a hole in the cardstock and put the wire through. If this is being done on a layered card, I taped (with Scotch tape) the wire down, then mounted it to the bottom layer of CS.

Hope these ideas helped!
