Default Stamping on Frap bottles

Good morning! I have a friend who's demonstrator has them using their frap bottles to stamp/paint on to create a vase-like bottle. Does anyone have any idea what she's doing exactly? My friend wasn't very clear...

Also, she gave me a bunch of bottles (I wanted to decorate similar to some I found in the gallery as gifts), but didn't include the lids....do you think a cloth lid tied on with ribbon would suffice??

And lastly....because I'm a little new at this...what's "RAK"???

TIA!!

"RAK" is Random Acts of Kindness.

Secondly, I have never seen them used as vases, but they sound cute.

Thirdly, it depends on what you are putting in them if you are using cloth...

Thanks much for the reply, Jamie!
If I can get more info from my friend about her vases, I'll post on here if anyone's interested.
Originally I had planned on filling them with cocoa or other drink mixes, but without solid lids, will probably have to resort to other items - my cousin likes to make jewelry, so I could fill one with stuff like beading wire, beads, etc; or candy seems like a good last resort!
Thanks again!
