Default Stamping on candles

Anybody know where I can find the directions to do this?
Do you use tissue paper to stamp on and then glue it to the candle somehow? Just curious.

tia,
Cindy

When our group stamped on candles we first stamped on mulberry paper with craft ink and embossed the stamped image then we used the heet tool to slightly melt the candle[just enough fo the candle to appear glossy] then lightly pressed the mulberry paper into the melted wax. Do a little at a time so your candle doesn't get deformed and you might want to wear rubber gloves so you don't get wax all over your hands, it also helps to have two people when attempting to do this. I hope this helps and I can't wait to see what you come up with! we used terriffic tulips and the results were amazing!!!! good luck Dawn

The way I make them is I stamp on tissue paper and cut out. Then I put it on the candle where I want it and put a piece of waxed paper over it. Then I heat it just enough with my heat tool so that you can't see the tissue paper anymore...then peel off the waxed paper. Don't heat too long or you will have wax dripping! Do it in small portions, otherwise it's too hard to control.

Default Hi!

I do candle stamping the same way as the post above, and the results are absolutely great! I even made candles for some wedding, and people were "amazed" by my so-called talent...if they only knew how easy! LOL!

Anyway, if you would like me to send some examples of candles, or more directions (I have it on Word I believe)...just e-mail me at [email protected]!

Have a great day!
