Sure you can stamp then paint with acrylics... but why would you want to? Bisque is a porus (did I spell that right?) surface - like porcelain. (OK. Anne is an engineer - which means she doesn't spell worth a hoot.) May I ask what you are trying to do?
Does anyone know how to stamp on bisque ornaments? If so, please explain. Can you buy them already glazed and stamp with Staz-On Ink? Could sharpie markers be used for coloring? Thanks!
Definition: Bisque (or biscuited clay) has been fired once but is UNglazed. Bisque may be done with porcelain or earthenware or any form of clay.
Hint: Look for tiles in the galleries here at Splitcoast. Since so many folks are stamping on tiles and turning the into refrigerator magnets, I would suppose that the same technique might work on ornaments.
