Default Using Cuttlebug with oval mat frame to partially emboss?

Whew, that's a long title! What I'm looking for is the Cuttlebug sandwich that involves using a 5 x 7 picture mat with an oval cutout to emboss around the edges of the paper and it leaves a smooth oval in the middle for stamping. I did search and found how to do it with a Big Shot but I need instructions for a Cuttlebug. Obviously I start with the A plate, but I'm lost after that. I thought I had it figured out last night but my directions don't make sense today.

I figured it out. It's the A plate, then the embossing folder with the paper in it, the oval mat, then the C plate. And I wrote down the assembly order so I won't forget!

Indigo Inklings: selective Sizzix-ing how-to

Is the the technique with the Big Shot you referred to or is it a different one?

The technique I'm referring to uses a Cuttlebug and Cuttlebug embossing folders. It also uses a mat for photos (I bought a cardboard 5 x 7 oval mat at Hobby Lobby). Using the parts in the order I listed, you end up with a smooth middle that you can stamp on, and the embossing is around the edges.
