Default chalkboard technique

I've seen a number of lovely cards saying they used the "chalkboard technique." I've looked it up in the techniques section, and there's no mention of it. Can anyone tell me how this technique is done? Thanks!

Thanks for asking this question. I was looking awhile back and I thought maybe I was a bit looped and got the name wrong. Hope someone comes along to save us from aorselves.

I believe this is also called the pastel embossing technique. There's a really good tutorial by Amy R in the resources forum on this. Hope that helps!

I was actually trying to find the chalkboard myself... it is different than Amy's Pastel Embossing technique... I would like to see the pros and cons of one over the other...
Chalkboard uses white craft on dark paper and then you sponge pastels over the image, Pastel embossing uses white EP and then you use a blender pen and the pastels... you have to spray this one, I was wondering if you needed to set the other?
