Default How to make pattern/template

I have had a few requests for a template/pattern on this card I created for the VSN challenge. Ladybug Baby dress by beadsonthebrain at Splitcoaststampers

And I feel like a dork asking, but how would I go about this? Do I scan my card base and upload? Draw out dimensions? It was all trial and error when I was making it. I confused myself. LOL

How do I go about providing something to help other make a card like this??

Thanks!

Elizabeth

I cannot wait for your directions-what a wonderful card. As a newbie I sure find templates helpful as well as those that give measurements. (I am lost without measurements).

Your card screams happy and summer and so many things. You are very creative.

I'm not an expert in making patterns for cards, but, I have made patterns for machine knitting. I think you should first write down the steps you took to create this beautiful card. Then do measurements for each piece. There is scoring. What are those measurements. DRaw the pattern or template for each piece. What tools did you use. Put it together in order, step by step. Offer simple directions that would be clear to anyone. Ask an expert like Beate Johns and the design team for advice. Maybe they can "proof" read it for you. I think it is wonderful that you want to share your pattern with the rest of us. I will certain follow-up and subscribe to this thread!
