I know this may seem silly, but I have seen a lot of cute shaker cards, and I am wondering how to cut the cardstock into a square frame on top. Do you use punches or is there a coluzzle pattern? I am a demo and I only want to use SU products to demo to my stamp club! Thanks for your help!
There is a square coluzzle template that you can use. I am sure you can use a square punch as well, but I tend to prefer the coluzzle. Another way to make a shaker- if you have a stamp that is large enough and has the layout to do so,you can cut out part of the image with a craft knife to make the shaker part inside the image of the stamp.
I use the punch most of the time for my shaker cards. For me, its just so much easier. And I use the punches from SU! But, if the image is too large, I have to break down and use either coluzzle or the paper cutter and do some math.
I'm not sure if you ladies have seen them but they have things called shaker shapes. They come in squares , circles all kinda shapes You peel one side stick to the cardstock pour in your stuff peel the other side aplly acetate. TAC has them in the catty but you can do a search online.

oh, you guys...see I have this really complicated shaker card I WAS going to teach at a stamp camp...but after seeing Joys, which is so simple thank you, I may have to switch gears!!! It will be SO MUCH easier on me! many thanks!
Catie anywhere really for the mounting tape. I use scotch brand...green and white checks. I happened to get it at office max but have seen it at michaels, walmart staples target, even the grocery store...HTH!
