Emboss Resist Help!!
Hey everyone, I am trying to figure out the emboss resist technique. How do you do it? Is it using clear embossing powder? As well could you use a white crayon???
Thanks!! |
In embossing resist you stamp an image in Versamark (usualy onto neutral colored cardstock) and then emboss in clear.
After it is embossed, you ink around the area and the image appears white b/c teh ink will not go over the embossed surface. To color it in you can: sponge dauber watercolor (etc.) Here is an example where you see the image comes out as white but it was really the color from underneath-I used Aquapainters and reinkers to paint over the surface that had been embossed.: Mixed Bouquet-Embossed Resist |
If you need visuals to go along with Britta's instructions, I just noticed that a new tutorial was placed in the resourses section today for Embossing Resist.
