DTP

Ok I see a lot of DTP in the galleries and I have tried that many times and hate the way it turns out.. what is the way to get it to look good instead of just looking like I dropped the ink pad on the paper?

Any suggestions?

Direct to paper
You can gently use the inkpad on the paper, usually getting some streaks, or use a sponge to transfer the ink for a softer look-depends on the look you want. Most times it is used for edging.

I like the little make up wedge sponges (available at drugstores). They give me more control. Hope that helps!

That video tutorial is fantastic! I thought I knew how to do it, but now I see how to make it look better! Thanks!
