Default White Craft Ink Applied to Embossing?

I have seen some nice cards that the CS was embossed with the folders for the cuttlebug and big shot and than they applied white craft ink to the embossing to make it stand out. How do you apply the ink to the embossing? Thanks, Carol

I just lightly swiped the white ink pad over the embossed cardstock for this baby card.

Of course, you're not limited to using only white. Here's the same effect done with Blue Bayou ink: birthday card
