Hi,
Alchol ink's are awesome on them, Ranger makes adirondack caried by michaels, jo anns, & archivers.
You can also emboss on them. use a versa mark pad and some embossing powder. My tip is when you use your craft heat gun use a metal pair of tongs when heating because ouch it burns like a son of gun.
I like to seal with a matt sealer. You must Seal!!!!
Also if you have to drill a hole make sure you have a way to grip the domino my hubby didn't and really grumbled about the 24 he had to drill.
good luch they are very addictive once you start you never stop!!!!

Now that gives me another question what do i use to seal with?

Blooming-Flowers 01-14-2008 09:49 AM

Also what are the best type of markers to use on them if I don't want to use embossing and such?

Oh one last one what is the difference in technique wise using the regular dominios and the wooden ones? or is there any?

rogers2345 01-14-2008 10:40 AM

Lets see I used an Acrylic matte sealer purchased at Michaels
I like the plastice ones myself I have yet to use wood
I have heard Staz on ink works well
Hmm as to what markers umm dunno, I would just experiment a little and see what happens!!!
I loved using the alchohol inks they cover so well and give them a unique background that none are the same!!!!
Good luck!!
