Sooooo cute. I hope someone has a template or can make one.

justdiane 03-13-2009 03:40 PM

This is a really cute idea, I am looking at it thinking after the boot I made I might take a stab at this. If anyone finds the template let us know. But I will give it a shot on making one anyways.

Diane,
If anybody can come up with a template for this it would be you!
Let me know how it comes out...I would love a copy. Thanks...Ann-g

Diane this is another picture. I found this site awhile ago that shows this in a large and small teapot with the cup and saucer.

I was curious and did a search in Google ... here are some sites I found:

This site has an awesome teapot design and template (and other wonderful creations too ... curiosity has benefits as I never heard of it before):

This one is not as ornate but I think it's nice too:

I thought this teapot was just adorable, so I made it. I had a problem with the pouring spout so I removed it and the handles. My very cute teapot is now and very cute trinket box.
Happy crafting
Katy

Teapot

[Too cute! Haven't seen it, but will look out for something like it.

stampztoomuch 03-15-2009 11:11 AM

I saw this on etsy made by the seller favour makers: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5244584

I am pretty sure that you may not find the template for it, since it may have been created by the artist to sell as an original design. It's precious isn't it? :O)

ladydjd 03-15-2009 11:43 AM

Not sure if favormakers in the artist of this since there's another site that sells them also might be the same person, that I can't tell.

justdiane 03-16-2009 07:40 AM

annejala 03-17-2009 11:01 PM

Sophia_77 03-18-2009 12:22 AM

Oh wow! Is that ever cute!! I really need to learn how to make 3D items and templates ...

Tea Pot

This teapot is adorable! This will cost $3.75 for the small plain teapot and $7.95 for shipping from UPS to buy from this company.

This is the teapot

slm50 06-07-2009 02:45 PM

Annejala,
Did you find a template. If so where? I would love to have it.

benman 06-10-2009 01:27 PM

I would really love a template for these as well, hope someone can find one.

janislu 06-10-2009 04:03 PM

FYI - The outside of the teapot and cups are punched out. The inserts are colored cardstock. Read this on a web site I visited awhile back.

Mountain Gal 06-11-2009 05:10 AM

It really looks almost like a slightly different shaped Explosion Box, but with a handle and spout attached. I think between the .pdf templates & instructions by the poster above, combined with an angled Explosion Box that it could be figured out and made.

I'm not into tea, or I'd give it a try. It's cute, though.

benman 06-12-2009 02:23 AM

Yeah, that could work, I guess.

benman 06-12-2009 02:26 AM

I've looked and looked for a template, but all I can find is the one to buy from English elegance :(

benman 06-12-2009 02:27 AM

There must be someone out there who would be clever enough to make a template.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.

Mountain Gal 06-12-2009 06:42 AM

You didn't like the .pdf template that was listed above by TeeGeeDee? It was more rounded instead of square, but it was pretty cute, and the template was at the end of the .pdf file.

There is another thread on this same subject elsewhere here, and they have to another thread with a watering can template that is somewhat similar to the teapot shown by the OP, and is really cute:

Teapot Box (from SU tiny take-out template)

This teapot is a little rustic (somehow my hand-drawn spout looks like an elephant trunk to me, hehehe.) Not nearly as elegant as those other tea pot templates but it was simple & I had fun with it...

This is great...and I love the vellum flowers. I'm thinking I may have to case these ideas. Great job.

Tea Pot and cups

Too cute! I'm subscribing, because I hope someone can make a template for both the pot AND the cups/saucers! My mom collects tea pots, and my MIL collects tea cup and saucer sets, so these would be a GREAT addition for both of them.
