Directions for Paper Beads

I scanned the "official" instructions for those of you who want to do it the "right way". For my card, I took a 9" tapered piece of paper (about 1/2" at the widest end) and wound it tightly around my bamboo skewer (see how in the attached picture). I glued the end, but never bothered to dip it in decoupage adhesive like the original instructions say. (Guess I'm just lazy like that). Slide it off the bamboo, and you're done! Pretty simple. See Paper Beads

Let me know if you have any questions, or need more detailed instructions!

p.s. You can find this in Paper Crafts magazine

Thanks for sharing!

I made these once many years ago...used colourful strips of magazine ads. Thank you for reminding me and this is a wonderful way to use thin strips of leftover scraps. And I like the idea of using decoupage glue to protect it.

Your card looks wonderful! And I looOOOooOOOove the dragonfly!!!

That's a great use of scraps! I'll have to try it.

Here's a link to a card in my gallery with paper beads. I actually clear embossed them while they were still on the bamboo skewer.
