I ADORE the card by Julie Ebersole using the chalk pads. I've tried to CASE this but I don't get the same results. :(

Julie -- or anyone -- did you use sponge daubers or just the lil' ink pads that pop out of the petal point? And if you used the lil' ink pads how'd you get the softer look? Mine are streaks and blobs ... yuck!
