Dimensional flowers
 

How do you make 3 dimensional floweres, sort of like those in the Stampin up Ocassions Mini catalog? I am open for any ideas.

The ones in the Occasions Mini are made from long strips of accordian folded paper. Adhere the ends together to form a circle then push the top out and down onto the cardstock. Another great dimensional flower is the dahlia fold. The directions are in the Resources section (upper right corner of your screen).

I mean the ones on Page nine. The box next to it says "walk in the park"
What are they using for the centers and bases? Will check out the one you mentioned.

Sorry, I don's have an SU! catty so I don't know exactly what you're looking at but I found a cool tutorial on the Cosmo Cricket blog a while ago. This flower in my gallery is made using the tutorial steps, I just added a bit extra "oomph" by rolling the petals back over a paintbrush handle. There's a link to the tutorial down the bottom of the description.

For the centres (now that I've finally got the pdf downloaded, it looks like strips of paper fringed with scissors. Any site with quilling instructions will give full details about how to do that.
It also lists the Sizzlits Build a Flower set# in the list of supplies, so I am guessing that that was used for the petals.
