Hi Arachana - it just means to use one colour. So for example it could be a card in shades of blue. You can usually use a neutral too so CAS10 says white or cream/vanilla are OK (so your blue card could have a white panel for an image or a sentiment, for example).
I think monochromatic is pretty challenging too! Actually, I remember reading that people thought it was difficult and I thought - nah. I mean, I get it, but it can't really be that hard. Then I tried it. Yep - challenging!!

Even I thought it would be easy before trying it out. The tough part is limiting ourselves while making a project. But its good.. Challenging our mind to get a desired result.

Hey Nancy - I used one of your stamp designs for the CAS10 mono challenge

Oh yes, Joanne, I saw it!! Tried to leave a comment and kept losing my wireless connection :( .
I've been wanting to use a Peace sentiment with that olive branch, too!! That card was absolutely gorgeous (no big surprise, you are just oozing talent all over the place!) . . . I actually thought it was textured cardstock and didn't realize until I read your materials list that it was watercolor paper. SO beautiful. I'm so stinkin' happy that you work with my stamps, Jo!!
I'm still working on the CAS concept. I love it and I have ideas but they never come out quite like I plan LOL! But it's fun trying

You're too kind
That watercolour paper does look kind of like a Bazzill textured card stock. We have a chain of shops called "The Papermill" in the UK and a while ago they were selling off huge watercolour pads really cheaply. The paper is definitely more textured than a lot of watercolor papers and it's more like a weave pattern but it's great for cardfronts! If I'm doing a really detailed image I like to use a hot press paper but for the more open things like those olives, this textured stuff is great!
