Jenn, that's a good question. Sorry I don't know the answer. Maybe someone else will. I would be reluctant to burn one with pretty stuff all over it (love the technique in the resources!), but would like to know if one could burn it if one wanted to.

I always burn just a little bit...enought to put a tea light in and then use the tea lights for burning. Saves the beautiful candle and no worries about anything else burning! HTH

I burn mine all the way and have never had any problems. I do the embossed type stamping, the staz-on inks on the candles, and the tissue paper methods. The first two burn just as you normally would. the tissue paper one though, you have to make sure you watch the candle carefully (which, i am SURE you do), and as the wax melts from the candle, you have to "hug" it, or push the sides back in to burn evenly.

HTH!

I have burned votives with the tissue paper technique without a problem. I was surprised to find when the wax was gone the tissue paper remained in the votive holder but to my surprise it didn't burn!
