In Beate's wonderful tutorial, she used glossy white cardstock. What is the difference between that and regular whisper white cardstock (in relation to this technique)?

I have never tried this with glossy cardstock... I love to do it over colored cardstock. It gives a really neat look because the color of the cardstock shows through the glitter. I will have to try it with glossy and see what happens. If you want to see the look with colored cardstock I have a few images in my gallery (they are several pages back). I have a sample that uses hologram highlights in replace of the irridescent ice emboss as well.
There is a difference between glossy and whisper white. The best way I can expain it is the glossy is like a glossy photo - it's bright and shiny. Whisper white is almost like a matte finish photo - it still retains the colors but has a matte, not glossy finish to it. I have both papers, and the glossy out-shines the whisper, but you can achieve many things on the whisper the same as the glossy - but just not to the full effect. KWIM?? ;)
Thanks for the advice. I can't wait to get the glossy paper so I can see the difference for myself. I know I'll be able to see it in person rather than through photos.

Hi ladies,
This is my first post here. I tried the dazzling dust technique and made 2 cards (for coworkers) with it. They absolutely loved it!!! I am going to try it using the versamark pen and just sparkling up the insides of a cupcake...flower center.....etc. I used the glossy paper for those but I think I will try the same technique using regular cardstock as a background
