Cuttlebug embossing question
I've just made some note cards by brayering a circle and then stamping image inside circle. Now I think it might be nice to emboss the card, but I don't want the circle with my image to be embossed. Does anyone know how I can mask the image to emboss around it? Thanks. Anne

Hi
I have watched the video, I do not have a cuttlebug but a purple wizard. What I see on the video she puts a lot of layers through the cuttlebug, which is impossible to do the same in the wizard. Help please Thanks, |
I have a Wizard and have not tried this, but with my understanding of how the Wizard works I think this is how you would do it .
Stacy is demonstrating the CB embossing folder in the Wizard. How-to Videos - Spellbinders scroll down to Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders You need the Blue charm kit plate . It is thinner than the white master mat Eliminate the tan mat ( it is only used for space) and put the chipboard with the shape cut out over the card front You only need one piece of chipboard or cereal box with the shape cut out . You don't need the positive shapes for just an un-embossed space Hope this helps Barbara |
Thanks Bargara, for your help and advice I will try to look at the video.

double embossing
I need some help, I would like to do the double embossing with the wizard like the same in the you tube video with the CB. I cannot do this with the wizards as the sandwich is too thick.
Thanks jogrybali:( |
This was a TLC challenge back last year some time. Lynn tried to get it to work with a Wizard and wasn't able to. I tried a bit too, and I couldn't figure a way of working it. However this card - TLC245 Sunshine by debbiemom23cs - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers posted for that challenge was done with a Wizard, and she explains her technique in the write-up.

Thanks Cook, this is what I have been looking for the last 2 days all over the net.
I will give it a try. Have a nice day, Jogrybali |
Welcome, you will like it here, if you have difficulties just ask, like I did and there is always help available.
