Default changing envelope size - inside

I have looked around this site, so am guessing I didn't see it here. Can't remember where I saw it now, of course! Someone had shown how they altered the inside of their envelopes to make a square card fit in a regular envelope. Right now I'm thinking to adhere some dsp inside , folded to fit the size of the card. Anyone know the correct way to do it? Thanks!
