Crimping

Can someone please give me an idea of how to keep the paper straight when using the SU! crimper. Mine always go crooked on me. Thanks bunches! :P

My SU demonstrator suggested to put the paper to one side of the crimper (along the edge) so it follows through straight. But I just tried that and the paper went crooked. But you can put the paper through as many times as needed to get it just right; the paper re-crimps.

I use my teeth to hold the paper if I am home alone. I hold the paper and get my dd to turn the crank if she is home.

That is the only way I can get it to work. I have tried the grip ideas others get to work (mentioned in some previous threads) but they have not worked for me. I am left handed and I like to blame it on that too! :-)
