Default shrink plastic help...

I am attempting to make pins for a Robotics competition. I'm going to put them, not the shrink plastic, thru the printer to print the teams logo, and then in the oven to "shrink". Ok... so, the printer part works, I just tried a sample. I went to use my heating gun to "set" the ink... and that was fine, til the plastic got to hot... and started to curl. So... I thought what the heck, and continued to heat to shrink the plastic. WHAT a pain, and definately a product I can use, as it was all uneven and such. The oven "fried" ones seem to come out flat, atleast! Anyone have any pointers? Am I doing something wrong???
Thanks!
Becky

As soon as it's through curling, but while still warm, flatten it with the back of a mounted stamp, or a piece of corrugated cardboard, or some other flat object. I always use my heat gun - much more control..

PS You can reheat the curled ones and then flatten them while warm.

Don't bother with the drying, it will dry in the oven as it bakes.
