Cork Message Board

Does anyone have a suggestion for cutting cork. I would like to make message boards to match my post-it-note holders and have tried both scissors and a razor knife they both shredded it.

Is the razor knife sharp? What about an electric meat knife....that is how I cut foam rubber.....

Cutting Cork Board

I have found that the cork memo boards have a smooth side and rough side. I used my X-acto (craft knife) to cut it using a straight edge ruler and it worked very nicely if I started on the smooth side.

Hope that helps,
Pataricia

Thank you

Amazing what turning the cork over and a new blade can do!
