I know I saw a question here somewhere awhile back about coloring Primas using reinkers ------- I really want them to match my ink. Does anyone have any experience doing this? I think the general method was adding reinker (a few drops) to a small container of water and soaking the Primas ---- Does that sound right?????
Sounds right to me - it's one of the ways to colour the SU! pretties, so the pre-coloured primas should work the same.
You can also use markers to colour flowers.
Cathy,
I have colored flowers using the aquapainter and ink from the lid of my stamp pad. Basically I painted the color right onto the flower. It works great and it's easy to control the shade you get. When I used reinkers, my flowers ended up being way too dark and also took a long time to dry.
Thanks, Cindy. I have to try both methods. Since I need so many I was hoping not to have to "paint" them individually. Maybe if I water down the dye enough it won't be too dark --
In the meantime I have come up with another card idea that won't involve the primas -------
