Default glossy paper

My friend Eva ( see her gallery under Evac) showed us last year at seminar how to mask off sections and daub the color on with a sponge. It's a little time comsuming but it is the most brillant coloring I've ever seen on glossy paper

This is great. Now I can use my black card stock. Great ideas!

I'm glad I found this thread! I bought a pack of glossy cs from Hobby Lobby, but wasn't sure what I would do with it. Now I can't wait to try some of these techniques.

Love that list Colleen provided. I am guessing there are many more techniques since the list was created. Anyone know of any? I am not sure how to search the Tutorials for this kind of information.

Simply type glossy cardstock or "glossy cardstock" into the search box on the Tutorials page. Using the quote marks brings up a slightly smaller list. The only caveat is that this will include tutorials where glossy cardstock was used as an extra for the finished card. You could also just try glossy card for your search term, but in the tutorials it's more likely to be listed as cardstock .
Faux linen comes to mind as one that's not listed here, and some of the alcohol ink techniques.

Subscribing as well so I can refer to this. I've been coloring with alcohol markers on my glossy card stock and haven't had a problem with colors being too bold, but I find that I can't ever get a subtle shade with any card stock on the whole So I just make do with saturated colors.
