Default ? Help-Printing on dark CS

A customer is doing her wedding invitations and wants to print the invitation on the black cardstock. Her invitation will be mostly Gold on Black. Gold being the stamped portion but she wants to be able to print the invition text portion on the black cs with her printer.

Has anyone found a way to print successfully on dark cs?

Has anyone had a custom stamp madeup like this - it would probably be equivelent to the size of a background stamp. If so, would you share your source to make such a stamp?

I had once done invitations for someone that were Night of Navy but we used White cs & vellum for the invitation text.

Grateful for any feedback or ideas.

I don't know of any printer ink that can successfully show up on black cardstock -- they don't make craft white for those cartridges! ;)

I she prints very wet, she may be able to put gold embossingpowder on the still wet ink. It have to be done directly when the Paper comes out of the printer. Or the can use transparency. Printing on the transparency put the embossingpowder on it and heat it. On the transparency the ink stay longer wet.

Sorry for the bad english, hope you understand my idea.

I looked around and found white ink on the internet...but not for home printers. Try calling a local printshop....even a Kinko's may be able to help....if you are doing a batch of them...it is probably worth it to get a proof of one and then just pay a printer to hook you up!
