Chalk Technique Booklet

1 Attachment(s)
I had a couple of friends that wanted to learn more about chalk and instead of just making a couple of cards, I put together a booklet with basic information about chalk and some of the techniques.

The attached .pdf contains all the pages of the book. The pages have room to attach samples of the various techniques for future reference. In the class we did each one of the techniques and then glued the samples to the applicable page.

The booklet is formatted to print on 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Cut each page in half (portrait) and punch holes in the top for key rings. The cover was made from chipboard and covered with paper that made using the resist technique. The inside covers and back cover we used designer paper to cover the chipboard.

I hope this booklet is some help for those wanting to learn more about chalk.

I'm so glad you like it. I store mine with my chalk so I remember to look for something I haven't done in awhile.

I have been wondering what to do with my chalk. My first time trying with the white ink with a stamp didnt work out as well as I hoped. Chalking an embossed piece of paper with these fantastic lil sytrofoam blenders I bought worked better.. Now I can check all of these out -- Thanks so much! This is great!

Are the samples showing up in anyone's PDF... maybe I missed someone say something about that already - sorry if I did. I thought it just didnt load before I printed so I went back and checked it out and no samples show up. Maybe its a place for our own..

Flea 02-04-2009 12:56 PM

stamphappy1650 02-04-2009 06:14 PM

I didn't put samples in the .pdf. It just has the blank pages and then you make the sample and paste in what you did. Here are a couple of photos of finished samples.
