Chalk Distressing ???

What is chalk distressing?? I seen a card in the gallery that said it had chalk distressing. But I am clueless as to how to do it?
thanks!

I've never heard of it, but I'd like to know also.

Beautiful card by Scrapgirl72:

"Chalk distressing" simply means that chalk is used to *age* certain areas of the card... in this case brown chalk was gently applied to the background to make the card appear aged.

I like to use "chalk distressing" combined with tearing... just lightly chalking the torn edge so the card looks older.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, thank you. You know that is what I thought it meant. But I wasn't sure. And that was the great card that I seen it on too!!!
