Default Chalk to color ribbon?

I have seen several cards lately that say they used chalk to color the ribbon. Does anyone know how this is done? Do you just color the ribbon and spray a sealer on? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank so much!
Colleen

Use your daubers to pick up the Pastels and apply to white grosgrain ribbon. Since it's chalk, it won't bleed through to the other side and you can flip the ribbon and use a second color on the other side (one of the techniques demoed at convention). I demoed this last week. I didn't need to seal it and I don't remember if they mentioned sealing it at convention. But, it didn't rub off on my hands, either. Think that's because you can rub it into the fibers. HTH

That sounds like a great idea. I am going to have to try it out, I just bought a large roll of white ribbon.
