Question Heat 'n Stick Powder

Someone told me how to use this a long time ago and I've forgotten.

I have an image that I want to apply a little bit of dazzling diamonds to without using Crystal Affects.

What goes on first? Do I stamp the image, go over the area with a VersaMark pen, apply glittler, then the heat 'n stick then heat gun it??

Thanks anyone for your help.

Use it like an embossing powder. If you want to do an entire image, stamp it with Versamark, embossing ink or pigment ink and then cover with powder and heat. If you just want some areas done you can fill in the sreas with an embossing pen or a brush and some embossing ink and then powder and heat emboss. After it is heat activated it becomes sticky and you can put glitter, foil, micro beads, etc over it. Make sure you don't over heat or it will loose it stickiness.

I love this stuff, but it is really really important NOT to overheat it! Also, have your dazzling diamonds ready to go... you need to be quick in pouring it on... the heat and stick doesn't stay sticky for forever.

Default Heat 'n Stick with Sand

Living in AZ I do a lot of SW cards. I use a nice bear fetish or pot with lots of designs and emboss with the heat'n Stick. I then carefully drizzle different colors of sand (from any craft store - colored sand in the kids area) onto the sticky surface and it comes out looking like a native american sand painting. Really cool! The sand sticks very well (a few grains may get knocked off with handling, but you'll never notice)

Thanks everyone for your help. Stampinsandyaz, I like your idea and the cards sound beautiful. I'm just from "next door" in New Mexico, so I may have to give your idea with the sand a try.
