I am new to computers, scrapbooking and anything remotely creative!!!
I saw a technique on the "How To Channel" on 11th March 2006 (in New South Wales,Australia) but cannot access it.
The lady on the show copied a picture of flowers from a photo. She then used a template to pierce holes into cardboard and then embroidered the card. She then completed her scrapbooking page. It looked great and reasonably simple.
Does anyone know what the technique is called and where I could either get templates or purchase a book on it?

I have no idea, but that sounds really cool.

I purchased a www.lastingimpressions.com "stitching guide" from an online store (that I can't remember the name of). The Lasting Impressions site has an "as seen on tv" link--so you may be able to get instructions to your project there. They do not appear to sell their products directly. I would search on "lasting impressions stitching guide" to see who carries it.

Thanks for the info on lastingimpressions. I contacted them but they mistook the word embroidered for embossed!!! I'll try again. Regards, just new.

You might try using "stitched" and see if that works better for you.
