butterfly help?

I think this is the right forum for this...I am looking for instructions on how to make an origami butterfly to use on the front of a card. (so nothing too "sticky-uppy") Anyone here able to direct me to instructions?

TIA

Hoping this site will work for you... It offers two different butterflies. You simply print the patterned paper, then fold as instructed :) I did mine using tissue paper and it gave the butterflies a more realistic look.

If you use a search engine like Google, and type in Origami butterfly, you can come up with several sites with instructions... some of them are in Japanese.

Have a FUNtastic day!

This butterfly is beautiful, but where did you get the paper?

Hi...I did google and I found the site you mentioned (thanks for taking the time to reply) but I am looking for a specific butterfly I think I've seen on SCS...it's got more definition to it but is still suitable for a card...I wish I could find the picture so I could link it here and show you what I mean...

I think it prints that way in your paper.

To obtain the paper for each of the two butterflies shown, click on the link below the one you wish to create... bringing up a printable page... It prints out in color, and all you have to do is follow the folding instructions.

Have a FUNtastic day.

Thanks! They're a lot closer to what I was looking for (I think I'll try #1 first as I prefer that one.)

Thanks for taking the time to help me!
