Default Opinion on Alcohol Markers

Okay, today I went to Creative Pals here in Milwaukee (Whipper Snapper Designs sold here). Anyways, I was speaking to them about coloring and the gamsol technique, etc ...

Well, Creative Pals/Whipper Snapper use and prefer Copic Markers which are Alcohol based and not cheap, $5.95 per marker ...

Anyone have any opinions, review or used these ... and what is the difference/ease of use between gamsol versus alcohol markers. Well, the markers, obviously are not toxic

Thanks in advance for any opinions or input you can give me regarding this.

Amy, I have used the Copic markers a few times. Even bought all the colors that my favorite store carries. They bleed through card stock, so you have to mat the design that you color. I haven't done the Gamsol technique yet, but from the work that's been posted on SCS, I love the effect much better than the Copic markers. HTH.
