Buckle Card pdf pattern & instructions

I modified Kim's instructions to enlarge the window, etc. Of course, once you get the idea, you can play with modified openings, the position of the opening, --heck, maybe even multiple openings! Holy cow I just inspired myself to go try that! LOLLOLLOLLOLLOL!!!!!

I hope the doc is not too large and will load here ....

NancyL2648 08-15-2004 10:22 AM

Thank you so much Julie!

Nope....not too large. *grin*

Sencie 08-15-2004 10:43 AM

Thanks Julie,
I can't wait to try this out! :D

otter005 08-15-2004 01:15 PM

i love pdf files!!! my word program is giving me fits!!!! Thanks Julie you are the best!!!

craftdoc 08-15-2004 03:19 PM

Thanks so much Julie for working up the instructions into a more visual form. Now I have something better to send when I get asked for the instructions. It is sometimes hard for people to find instructions in the forums. Maybe we need one spot to have the collection of PDF files for the various projects such as the buckle, spinner, box cards etc.

Sereikastamper 08-15-2004 03:24 PM

Thanks Julie, I will try this once life slows a little! LOL

Lisa Lisa 08-15-2004 09:48 PM

Ok....I am a total DUFAS!!! i don't get it??? I can't sew with a pattern either though!!

I saw the on in your gallery julie.......why is it called a buckle card?
I am so confused.....i would love to figure this out!

thanks

craftdoc 08-16-2004 03:42 AM

It is hard to understand until you see the finished card. I would suggest just following the steps one by one. At some point it will start to make sense.

Kar 08-16-2004 06:31 AM

Thanks gonna have to try this soon..

Keri.. life is going to slow a little??? When.... now that the fair is over mine will though :) Just 16 MORE DAYS TILL SCHOOL STARTS!!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 8)

I was thinking when Coleton is about Twenty Five!!! LOL No really it is ten thirty and I have already showered, Cole and EJ are fed and happy and I also have eaten...the dishes are done the counters are clean the kitchen shines and the laundry is almost caught up! So I am starting to get the hang of this "Mom to two thing"!!!

Kar 08-16-2004 09:00 AM

Well this mom of 3 thing is a bit tough... with a 13, 11 and 6 year old there is never any "extra" time to do anything it seems. When school starts will only have 2 kids left for babysitting so will take them and do things on "my" time. Will be nice

scrapperooni 03-16-2005 03:26 PM

I am not sure if it is my computer or the size of the pdf file but sometimes when I try to open directions, acrobat starts and then it freezes up. Does anybody else have that problem? I think i need to download a newer version.

bethelam 03-16-2005 03:42 PM

I'm a little confused. Where can I see a finished buckle card?
Thanks

I know what you mean! It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out but I did find this example and thought it would give you a visual:

Thanks Julie!

Julie to the rescue! I made this card last year, but had misplaced the instructions, Thank goodness for the search option. Julie, we can always count on you to have the best ideas, and wonderful instructions to go with them. Thanks!

akhappystamper 07-13-2005 12:25 AM

Is the PDF instruction link down or removed?

I can see the link in post #1, but my computer doesn't open it. It just shows an image icon in the upper left hand corner.

Can anybody else open it? 7/13/055

CatskillStamper 07-13-2005 03:32 AM

no file

Same with me... I see a tiny image icon in the upper left corner nothing else....

musicmarth 07-13-2005 04:16 AM

It came up for me! You might try right-clicking on the link and doing a "save target as" to your desktop and see if that helps.

If not, PM me with your email address and I'll send you the file.

buckle card

A quick FYI: If you are having problems opening .pdf files, try upgrading your Adobe Reader to the newest version (7.0). Since doing this, I have had few, if any, problems opening .pdf files. And to make it even easier, here's a link to the Adobe site for the download: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

I was able to open Julie's file today (2/11/06)...

HTH!

Buckle Card instructions

I cannot open nor save this PDF file and I have the newest Adobe version. I get a save image option (which only saves the icon) and no save target as. It also won't open in another window. Can anyone forward it to me at PM please.

Thanks!
Sandy
