Default Brainstorming: non-permanent tag attachments

Hi Folks -
I'd like to brainstorm some ideas for this...

I'm making gift albums for someone using Kolo Vineyard
I'm not using page protectors
This is for a guy who is going to be a single dad

I want to incude tags for him to write on, or attach photos to.

I do not want the tags to be glued down; I am including extra tags, so my friend will not feel stressed out if he makes a mistake with his journaling/handwriting.

I need the album to be as thin as possible; I created one with felt flowers & brads, and the album is more bulge-y than I would like it to be.

So, how can I include the tags so that they are removeable?

HANG: I like having the tags hang, but I'm not sure how...
- attach a brad to a strip of paper/ribbon, glue the paper/ribbon down, and hang the tag by a string from the brad; easy for recipient, but the brads will make it lumpy
- use a circle from cardstock or thin plastic; the tag's string can hang on the circle (sort of like string-closed envelopes); but I'm struggling with how to attach the circles to both sides of the mounting pages simultaneously (eyelet? embroidery floss?)
- I can punch slots, and thread ribbon thru the slots; the tags can hang from the string/ribbon; awkard for the recipient to replace tags
- other ideas???

POCKETS: I can make a pocket, and the tags can live in the pocket; the pocket adds more thickness than I would like

SLOTS:
- punch notches (like with the Basic Grey tool) and the tag paper shows on the reverse side of the page; sort of nice but a little difficult for the recipient to deal with

Other ideas?

Thanks for your input -

Could you just include adhesive with the album and he could stick the tags on himself?
Just a thought.

Yes, adhesive is a possibility, and I'm doing that with one of the albums I'm making for him. But, then the placement of the tags has to be very specific, or he'll never do it.

For this album, I want the albums to HANG.

Thanks for the suggestion
