I think I'm ready to take the plunge and start an Art Journal - I love stamping and scrapbooking, but feel I need something more than what I'm doing. I want to get out of the rut and comfort zone and really create something just for me. I took a local class and was about as lost as lost could get so I'm wondering where do you start? Are there any great beginner links/blogs, etc. for the newbie? Maybe somebody has put together a list of products that are great to start with or has some help with what journal to buy. Really - any direction would be great!
From iHanna's blog you can get to Daisy Yellow's blog. Daisy Yellow has great ideas for making art every day. Not sure if this is what you are interested in, but both blogs are terrific.

I love seeing them any time they come through the approval queue while I'm on duty. I could never create something like that, but I've seen some pretty amazing stuff.
