Default Stamping on walls

I would like to know what kind of ink pads or paint can be used to stamp on walls along with StampinUp! stamps.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

From what I understand, the best way is to use acrylic paints rather than pads. Use cheapie foam brushes and pour the paint on a paper plate (or something like that) and paint on to the stamp and then apply to your wall.

From someone who likes decorative glazes, etc. I would recommend trying it on some drywall piece first to get the hang of it and figure out how much paint you need, if there are tricky spots, etc.
Good luck!

I have stamped on my walls and I always use the acrylic paint you get at the craft store. I paint it on the stamp with a foam brush, so you get an even coat and not too much. Then stamp away! You don't even have to seal it. I did this in my daughter's room 5 years ago and it still looks great!

Acrylic paints/latex I've used too. I use small sponge roller and roll the paint onto my stamp and then stamp on wall - check on scrap of paper before hitting the wall to make sure there is enough coverage.
My suggestion to you is check texture of your walls - if they are not smooth (completely) you may not like look at all - I had slight texture and it really skipped spaces that I had to go in afterwards and touch up alot.
Good luck

I just recently painted on my kids bathroom walls. Someone on here said take a paper plate and put a piece of felt on it and then put the cheap acrylic paint on the felt. I made sure it soaked into the felt so there wasn't a big glob of paint. Worked great like a stamp pad and the ink just went on the rubber.
