Default How much to charge for Scrapbook pages

I have a customer who wants to pay me to do her daughter's college pictures into scrapbook pages. I know it will depend on size and how detailed she wants them, but how much per page should I charge? Has anyone ever done this?

Default scrapbook pages

My sister used to work for a scrapbooking store. Her boss, the store owner, used to do scrapbook pages for people. She would charge 30.00 an HOUR plus the cost of materials. She stopped doing it because she said that people were sooo picky about the results of the pages that it just wasn't even worth her time or the money. If the person you are doing the pages for is not picky, then you are home free...I wouldn't do it for very cheap though, scrapbooking is a lot of work, and its time consuming!!

Thanks so much for posting this. I have been wondering this same thing, however, never even thought to post the question here (what an obvious place). hehe

I brought in a 6x6 baby book that I did for a shower I have coming up and soooo many people asked if I did them to sell them. I had no idea what to charge. I have a feeling the $30/hour plus materials would be for ANY size page/book because it is the basic $30/hour....that is at least a start!

I would LOVE to be able to do that as a career. I do understand the picky people. You can't please everyone!!

Default what to charge

I would guess that between $15 to $20 would be good plus materials. I would love to get paid for doing something so fun. I would definately intereview the person I was scrapping for get ideas about what they like and don't like. Colors, artsy or fun, elaborate or simple. I would also sign some kind of contract and get material money up front.

Go for it!
