aqua painters and future floor polish

Does anyone know, once you use future floor polish in your aqua painter, can you still use it for water? I just don't want to dedicate an aqua painter solely for floor polish, because I watercolor with them a lot.

I have gone back and forth - you just have to wash it well and not let it sit when you are done using the polish. Hot water.
