Bottle Cap cards?

Hi Ladies - Karen from Australia checkin in - hows everyone doing today?

I have been browsing the gallery and come across cards made using bottle tops - can anyone clue me in on how they are done? I think in my head I know but just want to check before I attempt one!

TIA

Karen,

I place the circle (from the discontinue alpha accents) on my CS then stamp my image - to flatten the bottle cap, place it point down on a cement floor and hit it with a rubber mallet a few times - color your alpha accent piece, insert it in your flattened bottle cap. You can place CE ontop or use UTEE in a melting pot. Adhere your bottle cap with glue dots to your card.

just an FYI.. if you live by a Target that has scrapbooking supplies... they have a circle punch that fits inside the smaller SU 1 1/4" circle punch... I don't know if it's small enough for bottle caps..it measures 1 1/8" actually it is an EK success punch so they may have it other places.

Just popped into my head when I was reading this thread.
