Default Wall Stamping

Okay, after reading everything in here about stamping on walls, I gave up on trying craft pads ( 5 yr olds and wet paint don't do good together), so what I would like to know now is would it be better to use craft paint or acrylic paint? Thanks for any input!

I have not done this myself, but I have a friend who swears by acrylic paint for wall stamping. Her house is stamped throughout. She said she sponges it on the stamp, then cleans the stamp off periodically to prevent it from getting goopy in spots. I hope this helps!!

Default wall stamping

I recently stamped a border of Roses in Winter using craft pads and Staz on ink for text. It came out really well and was much faster than stenciling. It's in a house 45 miles north, or I would send a picture!

ack, I just did reply to another post about wall stamping and how I've done it - I hope this link works !

I use only acrylic craft paints, the small 2 oz bottles by Apple Barrel, etc found for around $1. I apply the paint to the stamps using a pad made out of felt scraps on an old plastic lid. If you have further questions , please write

I'm currently in the process of stamping on my daughters walls and I am using acrylic paints..They seem to be working really well and thats what I would suggest to anyone else that wants to stamp on walls.
