Default Stampin Pastels question

What is the best way you have found to get the chalk onto the blender pen?

I saw posted here the other day someone actually put the chalk onto a surface and picked up the color with the blender pen from that surface.

I just can't remember if they scraped off some of the chalk or what!

and thank you!

I read somewhere not to do this, but I haven't had any problems. I put the blender pen directly to the chalk and "scribble" in a little circle to get the chalk onto the blender pen. I LOVE using the pastels this way!!

I am not sure about the best way, but I just rub my blender pen right on the chalk, then go all over a piece of paper until it runs clear, then again, and so on...

It works great for me. The color is bright. If I want it a little lighter I just take the blender pen with chalk on it over a blank sheet of paper then color in what I want to get a lighter effect.
