Default Acetate box

Anyone ever used acetate to make a box for 3x3 cards??? No cardstock or paper, just the acetate??? I made one, but what kind of adhesive to use to seal the flaps and stuff???

I've not made that particular type of box with acetate, but red-liner tape has worked like a charm on some of the other acetate things I've tried. O So Sticky, Terrifically Tacky - it has lots of different names depending on where you get it.

Do you think it would be seen through the acetate?? I have some so I will try it. I wonder what companies use to seal there boxes.

You can see it thru the box somewhat, but it comes in different widths - if I were making an acetate box and wanted to use the 1/4" tape to hold it together, I'd make sure my tabs for gluing were just a smidge over 1/4" wide. The tape is clear; if it almost completely covers the overlap, it's pretty hard to notice. Now, if you have a 1" overlap and try using the 1/4" tape, it would be a little more noticeable but still not hideous by any stretch of the imagination.
