Anyone familiar with liquid embossing? Any tutorials available?
I'm still so new to Splitcoaststamplers, I hope I'm not offending any members with the question concerning the 'how-to' of liquid embossing. If anyone has a tutorial or words of technique, would you mind sharing them with me.
Thanks everyone. |
Powder but not liquid. Does this product have a name....manufacturer?

Ann, All Night Media is the maker of "liquid embossing."

I logged onto plaid to look at the product and I've never seen it before. I am assuming that you just use the tools that they sell to put it on cardstock to create dimension.

"liquid embossing" is a dimentional glue like Paper Glaze or Diamond Adhesive Glaze. It just has a few tint of color ... the tool kit allows you to move the dementional glaze in patterns. The colors I have seen are Antique, Clear, and Sepia The tools are what a lot of us own as staple tools...a pouncing brush, a sponge dabber, a texture combing tool, So when you apply the glaze you can make patterns in it. Hope this helps.

I think the name "embossing" is misleading. I just got some of the product (black, silver, & gold), but am frustrated that it is so thick. I imagined it would be more like stickles (which I should have bought instead). I guess I'll keep fiddling with it.

I played with some the other night. I put it on my card stock then heated. It looked just like embossing powder only you didn't have a powder to mess with. Made some of my one squiggles and some outling of a stamp.
