Default Dyeing velvet ribbon??

Has anyone tried to die velvet ribbon? I love the whole dyeing ribbon thing and would love to expand it to velvet if there is a proven chance it will work.

Thanks,
Sharon

I'd try it on a wee little bit of ribbon and see what happens... I've never tried it and I only have teal velvet in my collection right now. Take some re-inkers and give it a shot!

Right that would be the straight on approach. I was hoping to get a feel for what my chances are before paying for 15 yards of it along with shipping. I might do that later in the fall/winter so that if it doesn't work I can hopefully make use of the 15 yards of white velvet ribbon I would be stuck with.

Thanks,
