It looks like the person used a square and then the corners. I've done something similar with a different punch. I punched the corner separately on a piece of scrap paper. Then I measured the area the punch used (Including what was cut away) and then I cut a square double that size. HTH!

loopy corner punch flower- measure the punch from each corner- cut a square and punch each corner. Mine measured 4x4 cm . I got tired of trying to count all the hash marks on inches maybe -1 10/16 inches- cm was easier to see. hope this helps

When I buy my punches in a set you receive a sheet that shows the exact sizes to use so it will come out perfect. Here is the list.

3.25 in/8.25 cm
5 in/12.7 cm
6.75 in /17.15 cm
8.5 in/21.59 cm
10.25 in/26.04 cm
12 in/30.48 cm

Punch the corners first and then punch the inside borders. Use in combination of the above eg., 3.25 inch square or 3.25 x 5 inch etc. I'm loving my MS punches. To punch at a fold line, line up open arm to edge of paper and silver line to inside fold. Works great!
