3-D Pumpkin Pattern
Does anyone have the template or directions on how to make those cool 3-D pumpkins out of the DS paper???
|
I used 12 - 6" strips of DS paper. Stack it up then use the crop-a-dile to punch a hole at each end of the strip. Thread grosgrain ribbon through one hole & tie a knot on the bottom. Thread the ribbon through the second hole and push the paper strips down to form a "U" shape. Tie a knot above the U-curved strips. Then separate the strips of paper into the pumpkin shape. You could use longer or shorter strips, or score the strips in the center for a different look.

I am newbie. Well, I have been lurking and reading and oh yes buying for the buying forum for months! Anyway-any chance anyone has tutorial with pics of this for those of us that are challenged at this? Also, hate to ask the question but what does DS stand for.
I am amazed at the sharing and talent of so many kind people on this site. You inspire me. Not sure I will ever be able to do 75% of the techniques but I do enjoy everyone and every card posted. Thanks, Suzy |
DS is Darling son. DD: Darling daughter. DH: Darling husband.

I think you want lanterns. That is why you can not find it under pumpkin if you are talking about the round ball looking things that are the decorations by the tree hanging on a string.
