Default More Fossil Stone

Here's mine for today then I have to get a nap. I was up all night coughing. Have one of those sort throats and a GIANT headache. Had to stay up long enough to get DD's clothes dry and out of the dryer. Had just enough time to make a few cards. Thanks for looking.

Hi All
Beautiful cards! If I don't have glossy cardstock, can I use regular? Is glossy cardstock like photo paper?
Thanks!

How fun! I bought glossy cs ages ago and now I can use it! As soon as I read the challenge I thought it would work with the one and only cuttlebug embossing folder I own. Next time I will use more light ink, but it works fine for this. I could not figure out what I could use to top off the ribbon I used - I have quite a few supplies but am always short of the one thing I would like. Any ideas?

Thanks for bringing the challenges each week.

I really had a ball with this challenge! I was surprised at how easy this technique was. Thanks for making me stretch. After my experience with Polished Stone, I wasn't too excited about Fossil Stone, but I find this technique much easier with really nice results!

After much trial and error -- and many pieces thrown away -- I finally got a piece of fossil stone I could work with. Here's the one that didn't wind up in the trash --

Melissa,
I did it with both glossy and regular and liked how each looked. The glossy is like photo paper.
Have fun with this. I'm looking forward to what you create.

This was a super fun technique. I want to make more backgrounds with more colors to see how they look! Can't wait to go through the gallery and see what everyone else did with this one too.

I didn't have a plastic file folder, so I just used clear packing tape to make a folder with 2 acetate sheets. Worked great!

By the way, I did not have any plastic folders so I used waxed paper. I don't know if that had a different effect or not.
