For today's challenge, I have a super fun background (I know you are surprised about that huh )
A similar technique was done a few years ago HERE to create a monoprint. However, while the idea is similar, this time we want to use a few stencils (3-4) together to create a background to build our card on... This is also very similar to the ink smooshing technique; however, instead of smooshing the ink onto acetate, you will smoosh it on a stencil. Spritz it 3-4 times then "smoosh" it onto your watercolor paper in a few places. Repeat with other colors and stencils for a cool background piece.
I used Distress oxides but regular Distress Inks or other water based inks would work too.
The inspiration from this card came from the link below:
I hope you are inspired to try this one, I can't wait to see your projects!
I am playing. Got messy with this one and mix ability one. Oath drying and
I am trying to figure out what to do with them!, also watching for DD announcement.
I have mine done but can't complete the card until tomorrow because I need a piece of wisteria wonder card stock. Its retired but demo friend is sending me a sheet.

I made another today!!! Instead of doing what I am supposed to be getting done, I am playing in my craft room : ) But, I made this card with a special friend in mind- she lost her husband recently, and although we are long time friends, while we were both caregivers, we really bonded over taking walks in different wooded areas and birdwatching.
I was intrigued with this cool technique the moment I read it ... but play time has become a bit of a fleeting opportunity lately. ;) At long last, it's finished!
